To become a LCSW in California, a person must have received their Master’s in social work and have accumulated 3,200 hours of supervised experience in the field (over at least two years). They must also pass their state’s exam to receive their clinical licensure.

Therapy is something that I truly believe we can all benefit from. Here’s a few reasons to consider scheduling an appointment.

What can I expect during my first session?
During the first session, we’ll explore:
What brought you to therapy
Your current symptoms or challenges
Your history, including your childhood, education, relationships (family, romantic, friends), your current living situation, and your career.
Areas you would like to focus on for growth.
We’ll also agree on the length of treatment and discuss confidentiality.
What are your rates?
Sessions are $200 for 50 minutes. I occasionally offer sliding scale appointments when available.
Do you accept insurance?
I currently do not accept insurance. Instead, I provide a “superbill” at the end of each month that you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. I encourage you to contact your insurance company and ask them about the specifics of their mental health and telehealth coverage.
Where do your sessions take place?
I am functioning 100% via telehealth and serving individuals throughout California and Wisconsin.
