Clinical
Supervision

During clinical supervision, I assist associate clinical social workers with developing a supervisory plan, tracking hours and cultivating their therapeutic skills as they accumulate hours toward licensure. As a clinical supervisor, I review cases and provide information about evidence-based practices, focusing on cultural humility and case conceptualization. All supervision sessions are held weekly at a rate of $100 per hour.

What can I expect from the clinical supervision process

Clinical supervision is necessary in receiving your licensure to practice as a LCSW, but it’s also an important element in developing your skill set and understanding how social workers function in the field. Your supervisor can help you prepare for the licensing exam and help you set goals for your time under supervision. For more about this process, see the Board of Behavioral Sciences website.

Whether you are struggling through a life transition, experiencing race-based stress, or managing mental health concerns like anxiety or depression, our shared goal is to connect you to the best version of yourself. I believe that identity  shapes our experiences and that developing awareness allows our true selves to emerge. I want to help you cultivate your ideal life on your own terms.

For the past 15 years, I’ve worked in community mental health, intensive outpatient settings, and higher education. I provide counseling services that emphasize wellness — both physical and mental — as a form of prevention.
